Wipro, the leading technology services and consulting firm, announced that Sandeep Dhar has been appointed the global head of its Global Capability Center (GCC) practice.
Wipro’s AI-powered and consulting-led strategy supports enterprises in establishing and scaling future-ready transformation hubs.
Dhar brings over three decades of expertise in the GCC ecosystem and consulting, having played a pivotal role in building and scaling notable companies in the sector.
Most recently, he led the transformation of Tesco and Goldman Sachs Consumer Bank GCCs into strategic centres for innovation and growth. His leadership experience spans P&L management, digital transformation, and implementation of advanced engineering practices across industries.

In his new role, Dhar will drive Wipro’s comprehensive GCC offerings and report directly to Sanjeev Jain, the company’s chief operating officer.
