Infosys and the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) signed a three-year technology partnership on Tuesday to support the HSBC Championships at Queen’s Club, London.
As part of the agreement, Infosys becomes the official AI and Innovation Partner for the event.
The partnership will focus on using AI to improve player performance analysis, enhance the fan experience, and streamline tournament operations.
Infosys will use its AI technology, Infosys Topaz, to deliver real-time match insights and interactive fan features. The collaboration will also support sustainability and community engagement initiatives through digital tools.
Infosys Topaz supports enterprises in transitioning to SAP’s cloud-based ERP platform.
“Infosys’ AI and technology innovations will bring a new level of engagement with real-time insights and interactive moments, creating memorable experiences for our fans and contributing to the continued success of the HSBC Championships,” Chris Pollard, managing director of commercial & operations at LTA, said.
The company has been a long-time technology partner to leading tennis tournaments, including the Australian Open, Roland-Garros, and the ATP. Previously, Infosys had announced a strategic collaboration with Yorkshire Building Society to accelerate its digital transformation.
“By leveraging Infosys Topaz, our enterprise-grade AI-first suite of technologies, we aim to enhance the player and fan experience for this historic tournament at the Queen’s Club, London,” Sumit Virmani, EVP and chief marketing officer at Infosys, said.
