LTIMindtree Inks Record $450 Million Deal with Global Agribusiness Giant | AIM

LTIMindtree has landed the largest deal in its history, signing a $450 million multi-year agreement with a leading global agribusiness company. Spanning seven years, the contract underscores LTIMindtree’s growing capabilities in delivering AI-powered enterprise IT services.

According to a report by Mint, the deal is with Archer-Daniels-Midland (ADM), a commodities trading and food processing company based in Chicago.

Under the agreement, LTIMindtree will deploy an AI-driven operating model to streamline application management, infrastructure support, and cybersecurity services.

The end-to-end IT transformation will leverage platforms such as SAP S/4HANA, ServiceNow, and Microsoft Azure, alongside proprietary AI frameworks, to enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and support the agribusiness giant’s global expansion.

“Securing this large deal marks a pivotal milestone as we transform to an AI driven business model, helping our clients enhance productivity,” said Venu Lambu, CEO (Designate) and Whole-Time Director, LTIMindtree. “We are proud to be the trusted partner for one of the world’s most respected agribusiness companies.”

LTIMindtree executives emphasised the strategic importance of the win.

“Winning this important deal underscores our strength in crafting innovative solutions and delivering with excellence,” said Nachiket Deshpande, President – Global AI Services, Strategic Deals.

“This win marks a major breakthrough for our consumer services business. Our AI-driven operating model will drive measurable business impact in an industry that’s evolving rapidly,” added Samir Gosavi, chief business officer – retail and CPG.

Unlike its larger peers in the Indian IT sector, LTIMindtree reported positive Q4 FY25 results with modest growth. As of March 31, 2025, the company had 741 active clients, a slight decrease from 742 in the previous quarter.

LTIMindtree went through two major C-suite changes in early 2025. It appointed its chief operating officer, Nachiket Deshpande, as the president of its AI services in March, following the appointment of Venu Lambu as CEO designate in January.
