Zoho launches AI-enhanced CX platform, Ulaa Enterprise Browser | AIM

Indian software giant Zoho Corporation launched key updates to its customer experience platform on Friday, featuring deep AI integration powered by Zia. The in-house AI engine was introduced alongside the official launch of Ulaa Enterprises, a secure, enterprise-grade version of its privacy-first browser designed for the modern workplace.

These developments aim to help businesses boost efficiency, enhance security, and streamline customer experience, addressing some of the most pressing challenges of digital transformation in enterprises.

Zoho’s latest enhancements to its CX platform are centred around a new vision called “CRM for Everyone”, designed to democratise access to customer data across departments.

“To provide a great customer experience, multiple people in an organisation are involved. Yet, only a few have access to the necessary customer data,” said Mani Vembu, CEO of Zoho. “With CRM for Everyone, we’re not just expanding access but empowering users to customise their systems using natural language, thanks to Zia.”

Zoho also introduced feature like Ask Zia, allowing users to create reports using simple prompts. Besides, it also developed a no-code feature that allows users to build or modify CRM modules using plain language.

The platform also added Connected Records and Connected Workflows, ensuring a seamless customer journey by linking team data across sales, onboarding, support, finance, and legal.

With CX innovation, Zoho has also introduced Ulaa Enterprise, a browser tailored for security-conscious, browser-first enterprises. Built on Chromium, Ulaa Enterprise combines a familiar user experience with robust, AI-powered security features.

“The shift to cloud-based software has made the browser the largest attack surface inside an organisation, yet no software vendor has been able to produce a secure browser that strikes the correct balance between depth of policy controls and straightforward usability,” Vembu says about the Ulaa Enterprise.

Ulaa Enterprise provides features such as data loss prevention, centralised policy control, audit and oversight, and AI-driven security via Zia. It eliminates the need for heavy infrastructure or virtualisation tools, enabling rapid deployment and lightweight management. Ulaa is available across platforms, including Android and iOS, catering to hybrid and remote teams.

The browser has already achieved global popularity, with a 2.5x increase in downloads and monthly active users. Notably, it won the Indian Web Browser Development Challenge, which was held by MeitY.
