UST and T-Works Sign MoU to Accelerate Industry 4.0 Innovation in Manufacturing | AIM

UST, a leading digital transformation company, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Wednesday with T-Works, India’s largest government-backed prototyping centre, to fast-track product innovation in the manufacturing, semiconductor, and automotive industries.

The partnership aims to deliver turnkey solutions in Automotive AI, industrial IoT, and Semiconductor testing while reducing R&D costs by up to 40% for startups and enterprises.

UST will act as a systems integrator, combining its digital, AI, and systems integration expertise with T-Works’ prototyping infrastructure and startup ecosystem.

This collaboration is expected to accelerate hardware-to-digital integration by up to 45%, foster shared-risk innovation models, and enable joint intellectual property ownership.

Startups, MSMEs, and large enterprises will benefit from faster, cost-effective product development and early access to AI-optimised CNC workflows, GaN power device prototypes, and subsidised semiconductor design resources.

“By bringing together physical manufacturing capabilities and digital simulation models, we’re creating a powerful ‘phygital’ innovation platform,” Alexander Varghese, chief operating officer, UST, said. “This partnership not only drives faster and more cost-effective product development but also empowers startups and enterprises to scale breakthrough ideas into market-ready solutions.”

As part of the agreement, UST will deploy resources at T-Works’ state-of-the-art facility to gain hands-on experience in product development stages. The partnership also includes joint development and commercialisation of new IP, such as 5G-enabled industrial IoT modules and incubation of Industry 4.0 solutions through a UST-powered accelerator for automotive suppliers.“By combining UST’s expertise in AI and digital engineering with our advanced prototyping infrastructure, this partnership is a catalytic moment for innovation in India’s manufacturing and automotive sector,” Joginder Tanikella, chief executive officer, T-Works, added.
